Academy Classes & Camps

**05/18 update: In order to support efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, Trike Theatre will be offering virtual camps through Trike iCademy this summer. We hope your young artists will join us for our exciting virtual camps with other artists, where they will SEE, LEARN and DO with us! Our full virtual summer schedule will be LIVE on Friday, May 22nd.

Trike iCademy: We are thrilled to announce our launch of Trike Theatre’s Trike iCademy, our virtual academy classes and camps! Our teaching artists have been working behind the scenes and taken the necessary steps to alter their teaching methods and techniques to suit a digital teaching platform, allowing us to bring the arts to YOU.

Trike Academy: Trike in-person classes and camps are currently suspended. Please continue to follow along below for updates and class offerings!

Trike iCademy-Virtual Camps

June

Production Camp: Bad Ideas for Bad Television Shows – $115 | Grades 3rd-8th

(5 days) JUNE 29 – JULY 3 | M-F | 9:00am-4:00pm – US Central Time

Two desperate NBC executives need a new prime time show and they need it now, so they’ve turned to the general viewing public for help. A ragtag collection of would-be producers show up in droves to submit ideas for the network’s next big hit, pitching everything from a sitcom starring Jean-Paul Sartre to a singing competition in which the contestants are encouraged to sabotage each other. A zany satirical take on the absurdity of contemporary entertainment that won’t need a canned laugh track.

  • Students will use scripts, music, dance, and visual arts during this camp.

The week will end with a special live virtual performance sharing.
