Trike Resident Acting Company (TRAC)

Say “Hi!” to the Trike Resident Acting Company, or just TRAC for short. TRAC is Trike’s 9-month training for NWA’s next generation of theatre artists. Young artists considering the arts as a college or career choice experience all aspects of theatre to learn where their passion for this work lies. TRAC artists work in our professional Mainstage productions, on- and offstage, gaining vital skills.

Imagine Comprehensive Professional Theatre Training

Interested? Working with students from 6th to 12th grade and from any background, TRAC’s apprentice-artists get to work on at least 4 of the shows in Trike’s season: 2 as performers, 2 as backstage/design team. You rehearse 3 times a week for 3 hours per rehearsal. Each show rehearses for about 7 weeks, and culminates in 2 weeks of performances in our Theatre at Trike. The tuition for the program is $200.00 a month, and we offer generous financial assistance.

The production assignments will be determined by a combination of show need, student development need, and student interest. 1 of the shows have a youth-only cast, while the other productions are a mix of young artists and professional adult actors. All 4 productions receive Trike’s highest level of production support, and are run as professional theatre experiences.

In addition to the wide array of skills you learn in theatrical arts, TRAC members also have input on future seasons’ programming, and other Trike initiatives.

Join our team: We’re always looking for new talent and support.
