Theatre Classes: Find Your Character!

Trike Academy hosts year-round learning fun for ages 4-18. Join our theatre classes in the Fall and Spring, plus performance and adventure camps in the Summer — no experience needed for either.

Children’s Theatre Classes

Trike Academy theatre classes are like fun camps — just weekly hour-long indoor camps! And we’ve seen that having fun doing theatre is the best way to learn. Ever! Register today to ensure your space.

Creative Players

Ages 4-5

Theatre class for our youngest performers! Exploring characters through movement and play, this class introduces young artists to theatre. Activities include storytelling, games, crafts, and Trike’s end-of-semester “show and share” for families.

Storytellers

Ages 6-8

Take Creative Players and add storytelling with scripts and voice work. Exploring characters through creative play and movement, this class introduces students to theatre. Activities include storytelling, games, crafts, and Trike’s family “show and share” finale.

Production Class

Ages 8-18

12-week class. Production classes give students starting in 3rd-12th grade the opportunity to rehearse and perform a 10 minute play. Required experience level varies. Read each description to learn more about production classes.

Children’s Theatre Camps

Trike Academy theatre camps are like extended theatre classes but with whole weeks of fun. But Trike’s camps fill up faster than a kid’s summer goes by. Register early.

Join Trike’s Theatre Training Program

Advanced Production is a Fall/Spring training for NWA’s next generation of theatre artists. Young artists considering the arts as a college or career choice experience all sides of theatre to learn where their passion lives.

Look for trike programs in the community

We offer classes around Northwest Arkansas, partnering with other local arts groups. So, maybe it’s more convenient for you to send your young artist to one of these other locations. Just like back at Trike HQ, these partner classes fill up fast. Register early.

THEATRE SCHOLARSHIPS ENSURE EVERYONE’S WELCOME!

Based on need, Gwen Edwards Memorial Scholarships award up to 80% in tuition waivers. But space in these acting classes for kids is limited and so are the funds. So, the earlier you apply the better.

Give ‘til It Hurts

Trike Theatre exists to recognize and cultivate young people’s creativity, build their character and strengthen communities. All through fun! But we can only do that with our own community’s support. Plus, Trike is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. So, your donation is 100% tax deductible next year and you’re making a 100% difference today.
