ADVANCED PRODUCTION

For students passionate about theater, this audition-based program offers a unique opportunity to collaborate on dynamic performances for the community. Students will shape the experience based on their interests and talents, with support from our professional mentors. 

ADVANCED PRODUCTION: PERFORMANCE ENSEMBLE

This student-driven production class is designed for our most committed and skilled performers, ages 9-18. In this program, participants will work under the guidance of professional performers and teaching artists to collaborate on the creation of a unique theatrical production built around the interests and skills of the ensemble.

DETAILS:

  • Location: Thaden School, Bentonville, AR
  • Schedule: Thursdays, 6:30–8:30 p.m., February 11–April 26, 2025
  • Tuition: $100 for the semester
  • Requirements:
    • Open to performers in 3rd–12th grade by audition only
    • Must have at least one semester of prior experience in a Trike Theatre class
    • Must be concurrently enrolled in an age-appropriate production class
    • Participants must commit to at least 70% of rehearsals and the final performance.

Auditions will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Thaden School and will include:

  • A brief reading (script provided)
  • An optional song or talent demonstration (1–2 minutes)

Teen leadership program

Are you a high school student looking to take your theater experience to the next level? This mentorship-focused program pairs students with professional teaching artists to gain hands-on experience in production and teaching. Perfect for aspiring leaders in the arts!

Admission to the program is by application and interview only. Selected students will commit to serving as teaching aides in one of our regular productions classes (Junior, Youth, or T(w)een Productions). The program culminates in a final performance on Saturday, April 26, 2025, where participants will celebrate their journey as leaders, mentors, and creators.

  • Eligibility: Open to 9th–12th graders by interview only.
  • Location: Thaden School, 800 SE C Street, Bentonville, AR 72712.
  • Schedule: Assigned weekday after school.
  • Final Performance: Saturday, April 26, 2025.
  • Prerequisite: At least one semester of prior experience in a Trike Theatre class or another theatre program is preferred.
  • Commitment: Must attend at least 70% of rehearsals and be available for the final performance.
  • Tuition: $100 for the semester.
  • Virtual interviews are Friday, Jan 17, 2025
